Okay, Hear Me Out.

Okay, Hear Me Out was originally supposed to be a video blogging/ranting channel. A podcast in video form. But what was the issue? The main issue is that Michala and Michael don’t know how to shut up… We get on rants that go for hours. This is great, but when it comes to editing the video and syncing audio and inserting fun gigs and stuff the file ends up being almost 80 gigs; and my computer just can’t handle it.

The initial plan to switch over to a podcast came in December of 2020. I, (Michael Jenkins), decided to go and buy myself a podcast mic because my online classes deserved to hear my voice more clearly and I was also getting a lot of self-tape auditions… You know what? Let’s just say I was tired of sitting at home and needed some retail therapy. Buying an expensive microphone sounded like a great opportunity to flex my Visa card.

I talked Michala into sitting down with me one night after binging Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix (no spoilers please). And we just decided to start talking… Our mics weren’t set up properly, so that episode went into the trash, but ya know you live and you learn… The second episode was done properly, uploaded on time and like 3 people shared it. One of the shares came from my cousin who also created the intro and outro beat (Jason Baliski @Rocketfuelcouching on Instagram). So that’s cool.

So what’s next for Okay, Hear Me Out? Uploading will be every week and the topics are going to very. We plan to share our uploading schedule on Instagram at @okayhearmeout and sharing on our own personal channels. It’s going to be fun, stressful and unedited. Buckle up :)
